Chewy Chocolate Brownies

These chewy chocolate brownies are made without gluten, dairy, or refined sugar. They are one of the easiest desserts to make and are guaranteed to curb your chocolate cravings! I originally thought they were going to be a flop trial recipe, but you just have to be patient when baking them.
 
INGREDIENTS
 
1 cup of walnuts
1 cup of dates 
1/4 cup of cacao powder
1 mashed banana
2 tablespoons of peanut butter
1 tablespoon of hot water
Dark chocolate chips for garnishing
 
*makes about 10 small bite sized brownies - double for more!
 
DIRECTIONS

Place walnuts in a food processor or high speed blender and blend finely.

Add raw cacao powder and blend together.

Add dates and hot water and blend again.

Add mashed banana and peanut butter blending until mixture is a sticky dough.

Spread dough in a lined baking tin, it will be very sticky.

Cover with dark chocolate chips and bake on 180 for 40-50 minutes.

Make sure you let it cool to develop a chewy texture.

Serve with cream or Greek yogurt.
