INGREDIENTS

Coconut filling:

2 cups of desiccated coconut
1/2 cup of coconut oil
2 tablespoons of raw honey
1/4 cup of unsweetened coconut milk

Chocolate coating:

1/2 cup of coconut oil
1/2 cup of cocoa powder
1/2 cup of chocolate protein powder

DIRECTIONS

Melt coconut filling ingredients on low heat on your stove top, stirring until combined. 

Press coconut filling mixture firmly into a lined baking tin. 

Place in the freezer for at least two hours to set. 

When the filling is ready to go get a large bowl to make the chocolate coating in (you'll dip the bars in this).

Melt 1/2 cup of coconut oil.

Stir in 1/2 cup of cocoa and 1/2 cup of chocolate protein powder.

Remove the now set coconut filling from the freezer and cut in to bar sizes pieces. 

Prepare another lined baking tray to use for the bars once they have been dipped in the protein chocolate. 

Dip the coconut bars in the protein chocolate and place on the lined tray, ensuring they are completely covered (this can be a little messy).

Place in the freezer for at least 3 hours to set.

Remove and enjoy!!

Store in the freezer.
