Raw Chocolate Energy Bars

Move over supermarket muesli bars, these are the perfect on the go snack. Rich and chocolaty and you don’t even have to bake them!!


1 cup of almonds

1 cup of rolled oats

1/2 cup of raisins

1/4 cup of dried apricots

1/4 cup of dried pineapple

5 dates

1/2 cup of cacao powder

3 tablespoons of boiling water


Blend almonds and rolled oats in food processor to get a flour like mixture.

Add cacao powder, dried fruit and dates and blend again.

While blending pour in the 3 tablespoons of hot water and leave until the mixture sticks together.

Press the mixture firmly into a lined slice tin/brownie dish.

Place in the fridge for 2 hours before slicing into bars.
