Paleo Friendly Feijoa Crumble

For those winter nights when you want something warm and scrumptious.

INGREDIENTS

For the base…

Feijoas (enough to fill your baking dish)

Pinch of ground cinnamon

For the topping…

4 tablespoons of extra virgin coconut oil

2 tablespoons of honey

2 cups of shredded coconut

1 cup of ground almonds

½ cup of pumpkin seeds

½ cup of sunflower seeds

DIRECTIONS

Preheat the oven to 180°C

Peel the feijoas and place in an oven proof baking dish and sprinkle with the cinnamon.

In a small saucepan on low heat, melt together the honey and coconut oil. Add the shredded coconut and mix well to combine. Spoon evenly on top of the feijoas and sprinkle nuts and seeds over topping.

Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes or until lovely, and golden.

Serve with fresh cream.
